This time, I didn’t want to begin with an artwork. I wanted to begin with a story. Before creating what could be seen, I wanted to discover what needed to be told.

• When the story found its Characters •

Once the story began to take shape, so did its world. Characters, places, and details started appearing, slowly revealing who would inhabit this new collection.

Episode 3 • Season 3

• Turning words into images •

The story existed in my mind and on paper, but it still needed to become visual. This was the moment to translate words and narrative into images, shapes, and visual ideas.

Episode 4 • Season 3

• Creating stories and making art •

Finally, the two things I love came together. Storytelling and art began to speak the same language, allowing the narrative and the images to grow side by side.
